Summer is in Full Swing – and so are we! From a new home to record-breaking attendance, June has been a month of major milestones at Next Step to Success. We’ve got big updates, exciting announcements, and powerful partnerships to share – let’s jump in!

We’ve Moved into our (temporary) New Home!

This month marked an exciting new chapter as our Summer Program kicked off at Christ the King Catholic School, a beautiful new space filled with classrooms, a full gym, cafeteria, and plenty of room to grow.

We’re deeply grateful to Christ the King for welcoming us, and we remain committed to honoring the traditions and spirit of this space while providing transformative experiences for our youth.

Highest Attendance EVER!

We are proud to share that this summer, Next Step to Success reached its highest attendance to date, with a full roster of students and a growing waitlist!

The energy and excitement of our students is unmatched, and our team is working hard to make this our best summer yet.

STEM-Powered Summer – Thanks to Elizabeth River Crossings!

For the second summer in a row, we’re thrilled to partner with Elizabeth River Crossings as our exclusive STEM sponsor. Their support allows us to deliver hands-on, high-impact STEM activities!

We’re so thankful to ERC for making STEM learning fun, engaging, and accessible for every NSTS student.

Thank you to our new Program Director, Carly West Gelles, for helping with our move and transition to our new location! She is off to the races with developing our programming and building new relationships. Can’t wait to see what she does next!
