Students ages 13–18 (still in high school) can apply now to participate in our full-day summer experience, including:

• Visual and performing arts

• Weekly field trips

4th Annual Black History Month Celebration

In February, our students led a powerful and inspiring evening honoring the strength and resilience of Black leaders, past and present. With informative student-led panel discussions, heartfelt storytelling, and a room full of community support, the event reminded us all of the power of legacy and leadership.

Women's HERstory Month: Empowerment Forum

Join us tomorrow, March 20, 2025, for a night of reflection, inspiration, and unity as we host our Women’s Empowerment Forum to celebrate Women’s HERstory Month.

Youth and community members will hear from phenomenal guest speakers, including Chef Luv and Amber Edwards. Students will be debuting their own video celebrating women’s achievements.

Designing the Future: Youth Workshop

STS Students recently had the rare opportunity to shape the future of their very own learning environment!

Design teams from WPA Architecture, Steelcase, and Creative VA hosted dynamic workshop sessions to gather feedback on the vision of our new St. Vincent de Paul House campus.

From furniture choices to creative space ideas, our youth shared insights and ideas that will directly influence the final design. This is youth voice in action – where design meets empowerment!
